God wants to be involved in our lives....

Thinking about God's "gift of learning" ....takes me back to my college undergraduate days studying for a degree in Math Education.  Graduating in Spring 1966, I was going to be a high school math teacher, ....before God helped change my life's direction and started me down a different path of creating media.  ....And here we are today ....talking through this website.  SMILE, ....God has plans for us to follow Him....

God's "gift of learning"

....I recall in my Teacher Training classes, we studied a learning theory called Bloom's Taxonomy. It describes six levels of student "learning skills" ....to help teachers write learning goals for the courses they teach, ....such as mathematics, education, health sciences, engineering, business, the arts, etc.  It starts with "Remember" facts and builds to "Create" a new whole from what you've learned.  ....To know more, do an online search for "Bloom's Taxonomy".

As an example of how the progression in learning skills works, everyone knows 2+2=4. ....But, to REMEMBER 2+2=4 ....is just basic memory stuff, ....unless you UNDERSTAND and know how to APPLY the math.  ....For example, consider an architectural engineer designing the foundation of the Empire State Building.  

You have to seriously learn how to ANALYZE the engineering math, ....so you can correctly EVALUATE the construction design, ....if you're going to CREATE (build) something you will live and work in ....that is still standing firm after a storm!

Basics of God's "gift of learning" to know Him

So, how about building your life's Biblical worldview, ....so you are still standing firm after a life's storm? (see Ephesians 6:13-18)  Jesus tells us how....

"Anyone who listens to MY TEACHING and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house (THEIR LIFE) on solid rock.  Though the rain (TRIALS) comes in torrents and the floodwaters (SORROWS) rise and the winds (SPIRITUAL BATTLES) beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is BUILT ON BEDROCK (OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS).”
    — Matthew 7:24-25 NLT

....because we live in the peace Jesus gives us in John 16:33
....knowing the daily experience of Jesus living in us from John 14:20

From a lifetime of experience, I have learned, ....you must KNOW JESUS and cultivate your learning, believing mind (UNDERSTAND).  You have to desire a teachable, responding heart (APPLY), if you want to build a worldview (CREATE) that's worth anything to win spiritual battles, ....and grow in knowledge of God.

"Knowledge" (being aware) of scripture in the Bible ....is a good start, ....but YOU HAVE GOT TO ASK JESUS to help you UNDERSTAND (believing mind) that scripture and APPLY (responding heart) it in your life.  ....Otherwise, such "knowledge awareness" is just "basic memory stuff".

Life's Core Learning Goal

....is to "EXPERIENCE KNOWING GOD" ....and to GET and KEEP OUR LIVES IN loving, intimate RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST our Savior, Lord, and cherished Friend.

APPLY "knowledge of God" learned into your life ....2 Peter 1:3,5-8

ANALYZE outcomes of your worldview choices in life ....Romans 12:2

EVALUATE "God's TRUTH" in your worldview choices ....Philippians 4:8-9

CREATE the reality of God's Word into your life's story ....Col 3:10 NCV

....as a witness to WHO YOU ARE IN JESUS, ....because....

.......At age 13, my granddaughter tried to commit suicide. She had written a final goodbye email to "internet friends", as though they understood.  ....Thankfully, family found her before it was too late, and today she is doing well.  ....Many parents understand what I'm sharing.  ....Not easy to talk about, but I need to ....and do something about it!

Do an online search for "what is Moral Deskilling" ....to understand something disconcerting about unchecked reliance on Internet AI,
....IF ASKING QUESTIONS ONLY GOD CAN CAN ANSWER.

DEFINITION: ....Moral Deskilling is the loss of skill in making ethical decisions due to relying too much on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make choices for us.  This can lead to a decline in a person's ability to make complex moral decisions.

Yes, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has benefits, so these comments do not negate AI when used with understanding of what it is doing and why.  ....HOWEVER, just remember artificial intelligence is trained primarily on data drawn from the modern digital world — a culture that openly rejects Biblical truth on questions of identity, sexuality, morality, ....questions about "why are we here?" and "where are we going?"

....Be aware of the "Google Effect"

The "Google Effect" — also known as "digital amnesia" — refers to the tendency of people to forget information they can easily find online, as they rely on the Internet as a memory aid ....instead of retaining the information themselves.  For more, just "Google it".  SMILE....

Notice that ALL internet browsers have some form of AI search assist/overview response to give "quick answer summaries" of your questions.  ....Just be aware of the "Google Effect" on learning.

THIS IS WHY ....a Quest to know God more ....is more than online searches ....for quick information hits. Nothing replaces you digging
into God's Word yourself ....to KNOW FOR YOURSELF
....your Biblical worldview, ....SO YOU CAN LIVE BY IT.

To know God, ask God....

Get your worldview knowledge about God ....from Him....

Don't allow your worldview of God to be learned from hearsay evidence, filtered through someone else's worldview ....or an Artificial Intelligence answer.  ....‍Get your knowledge of God straight from Him.

Read your Bible.  Listen to the Holy Spirit.  Talk with Jesus often.  ....And whatever you learn from "Jesus-focused" websites, VERIFY IT with God's Word for His Truth.
