How would you describe your worldview to yourself ....or someone else, explaining your heartfelt and mental framework for living ....by which you make choices in life?  How do you respond to TRUTH in God's Word?  How are you building, nurturing, ....and sharing your Biblical worldview?

....I'm blessed to tell you ....my granddaughter, Zoe, is helping me write questions for the following online study journals.  Hard to put into words the joy this old guy feels, ....seeing younger generations accept and enjoy assignments from our Lord.  SMILE....

Okay, let's take a look.... (NOTE: JOURNALS ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 1-6 ....On our Quest to know God more, we understand our worldview influences the choices we make in life.  We describe "life's biggest questions" that we are/should be asking ourselves, and explain our responsibility to know “What?” we believe and “Why?”, ....so we can evaluate truthfully if our worldview is build on the BEDROCK foundation of Jesus Christ.

‍LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 7-9  ....On our Quest to know God more, we recognize what makes God smile?  We explain why Jesus is THE answer to life’s biggest questions.  ….And we can explain why we were created when telling our story about Jesus in our lives.  ....We paraphrase why Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life, ….and evaluate why He is worthy of praise and worship.

LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 10-15 ....On our Quest to know God more, we describe how God wants to be involved in our lives ….and explain the range of intimate, unique, ....common and uncommon God-Moments we have had and can expect, ….living daily with Him.  We understand how expectations of God will influence choices we make in life.  ....And in Peter’s story, we will explain how we ALL need a Friend (Phileo, Strong's G5368) ….and that Jesus is the One and More!

LEARNING GOALS: Chapters 16-21 ....On our Quest to know God more, we analyze Jesus' words, “Remember what I told you.”  We interpret David’s statement “the battle belongs to God”, and determine why we must “put on every piece of God’s armor” to resist the enemy in spiritual warfare.  We analyze a Bible study approach called “3Rs + PRAYER”, ….to determine the “Why?", “What?”, and “How?” of applying God's Word (our weapons in spiritual battles) in our lives.

LEARNING GOALS: Chapter 22  ....On our Quest to know God more, we understand God has assignments for us — to match our abilities, use spiritual gifts, and streach us in new challenges, ….so we describe how we are listening for God’s voice to show us how to proceed.  Finally, we summarize what we have learned in this study and compose your personal testimony of Jesus in "my" life ....with intent to tell others about Him, ….as "my" Savior, Lord, and Friend.

Being actively engaged with self-discipline

....is implied and required, ....if you want to GROW in your knowledge of God.

Basically, your "believing mind" and "responding heart" grow to be more like Jesus, ....because YOUR WORLDVIEW CHOOSES to continually GROW IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD and Jesus our Lord.  

Because you want to....    ‍

Listen & SEE God's Truth ....as you READ, asking in PRAYER ....for God to help you know what He is saying to you.

Trust & BELIEVE God ....as you RELATE His TRUTH to your life circumstances, ....PRAYING you understand what to do.

Obey & APPLY ....as you RESPOND, asking in PRAYER for God's help changing your life to be more like Jesus.

....Okay, so here's a question to ponder....

How do we "understand" spiritual TRUTH in God's Word, ....so we can "apply" it in our lives?

No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.  And WE HAVE RECEIVED GOD'S SPIRIT (not the world’s spirit), SO WE CAN KNOW the wonderful things God has freely given us.

When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words (SCRIPTURES) given to us by the Spirit, USING THE SPIRIT'S WORDS TO EXPLAIN SPIRITUAL TRUTHS.
    — 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 NLT

Because God the Holy Spirit dwells within us, ....we understand God's Word, "seeing" with spiritual eyes, ....so we can live in relationship with God Who is Spirit.  

See John 14:15-17, 14:26; Ephesians 4:23-24; 1 John 3:24

God's Word is timeless, spiritual TRUTH ....that we can live by today!

And one more question....  What did Jesus mean when He said this?

"I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.
No one can come to the Father except through Me."
    — John 14:6

....I've thought about this verse a lot, ....write about it in Chapter 8.2.  ....For me, it speaks of Jesus' mission, and what gives us hope in life....

If Jesus is "the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE", ....then we should look for, even expect "God-Moments" in our lives, when He SHOWS US THE WAY, ....TELLS US THE TRUTH, ....and reveals Himself PRESENT IN OUR LIFE. These are the wonderful consequences of being actively engaged in life with Jesus ....to know Him more, ....traveling with Him on life's journey.  That is what Jesus does as our Savior, Lord, ....and Friend.
